Caitlin Clark talked about Angel Reese's season-ending injury

Caitlin Clark spoke about Angel Reese after she suffered a season-ending wrist injury. She gave major props to Reese, saying that the Sky rookie had the "best motor" in the league. She also congratulated Reese for an amazing rookie year.

“It’s definitely sad anytime you see anyone go down with an injury, especially people that you came into this league with, whether it’s Cam [Brink], whether it’s Angel,” Clark said (h/t Sports Illustrated). “Especially Angel, you want to see her finish out this year. Obviously she’s had a historic year, and she’s done some incredible things.
"... I thought she came into the league and really did what she’s done well her entire career as long as I’ve known her. So it’s definitely devastating, it’s never anything you want to see from a player.”

Anytime Clark and Reese faced each other this season, it was a sold-out game. The last three contests between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky remained a few of the most entertaining games this season.

In 34 games this season, Reese averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
