PHOTOS: LeBron James rocks iconic Scream ghostface mask for Lakers vs Raptors Halloween game
LA Lakers star LeBron James arrived at the Scotiabank Arena on Friday for their game against the Toronto Raptors wearing a ghost mask from the horror film series, "Scream."
It's known that James is a fan of horror. In the docu-series "Starting 5," he talked about his love of the genre and dressing up for Halloween. For this year, James didn't go all out for his costume as the Lakers are in the middle of their five-game road trip.
James posted the photos of his Halloween costume on Instagram before the game against the Raptors started.
"LIVE from LeBronto," James captioned the IG story.
James didn't get to dress up like he did last year. The Lakers star went as "Beetlejuice" from the hit movie of the same name. His wife, Savannah, matched his Halloween energy last year and dressed up as "Miss Argentina," also from the same film.
In the past years, James dressed up as the iconic "Jason Voorhees" character from the "Friday the 13th" series. The Lakers star has also dressed up as "Pennywise," the clown from "IT."
LeBron James likes the idea of playing with his second son
LeBron James achieved a feat that almost no athlete could ever do, and that is to play with his son on the same team. But given how good he still is, the possibility of him playing with his second son, Bryce, was brought up following their loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
"Oh s**t," James said. "Bryce is a senior. I don’t know. We’ll see. We’ll see. That would be pretty cool. It’s all about my mind and then seeing how my body reacts over these next couple of years."
James will set another record if he gets to play with his second son. If he continues to wait for Bryce to make it, he will also become the first NBA player in the league to play for at least 24 seasons.
It'll be even more momentous if the Lakers are the team that gets to draft the younger James. Having all three of them share the court will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for their family.
