Simone Biles is a 7-time Olympic gold medalist
Simone Biles is considered the greatest gymnast of all time due to her accomplishments in the Olympics and the World Championships. Biles has seven gold medals, two silvers and two bronzes in three Olympic games from 2016 to 2024.
In the World Championships, Biles amassed a whopping 23 gold medals from 2013 to 2023. At just 27, she has a strong chance of setting new records for total medals. The 2028 Olympics will be held on home soil in Los Angeles, California.
"You never say never," Biles said on TODAY back in August, according to NBC New York. "The next Olympics is on home turf, so you never know."
Already the oldest gymnast to win Olympic gold at age 27, Biles could extend that record if she competes for Team USA in 2028 when she’ll be 31.
