PJ Washington's wife Alisha Washington splurges $3,380 Louis Vuitton bag in her collection
Alisah Chanel Washington, wife of Dallas Mavericks forward PJ Washington, took to social media to show off the new addition to her luxury bag collection—a Louis Vuitton bag.
Chanel already owns an impressive array of high-end bags, but her latest, the Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolor Speedy 30 Handbag Bron White, stands out with its multicolored logos and brown accents.
According to Open for Vintage, the bag is priced at $3,380.
Chanel didn’t specify if she or her husband purchased the bag. She and PJ Washington got engaged in August 2022 and tied the knot in October last year. Throughout their relationship, Washington has often spoiled Chanel with luxury gifts, which she frequently shows off on social media.
PJ Washington has the means to lavish Chanel with such gifts, having earned nearly $35 million during his NBA career. Last year, he signed a three-year, $48 million contract extension that made him one of the cheapest productive forwards in the market.
Between the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons, Washington was mainly a starter, starting in 118 of 122 games. In the 2021-22 season, his role as a starter diminished, starting in just 28 of 65 games.
However, he reclaimed his starting position in the 2022-23 season and had his best career year, averaging 15.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 blocks across 73 games, with shooting splits of 44.4% from the field and 34.8% from 3-point range.
During the 2023-24 season, Washington primarily came off the bench in his first 44 games but was traded to the Dallas Mavericks, where he started 28 of 29 regular season games.
He played a key role for the Mavericks in his first playoff run, averaging 13.0 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting 34.8% from beyond the arc.
A look at PJ Washington’s romantic life
PJ Washington’s love life first gained public attention during his relationship with social media influencer Brittany Renner. They began dating in 2020 and made their relationship public in February 2021.
The couple had a son in May 2021, just before their breakup, which led to public disputes over child support and custody.
Following their split, rumors surfaced that Washington was required to pay Renner $200,000 per month in child support. However, Renner later clarified that the actual amount was much lower, around $2,500 per month.
Their relationship faced scrutiny, particularly due to their six-year age gap and allegations that Renner "trapped" him into fatherhood. Despite the public drama, both have discussed the difficulties of co-parenting and misconceptions about their financial situation.
Washington later married Alisah Chanel in a glamorous October 2023 wedding after a year of dating. They have a son named Preston, born in December 2022.
