Popstar Justin Timberlake drops two-word reaction to Jimmy Butler over concert hangout

Jimmy Butler has had a long and exciting offseason. The Miami Heat star last saw action in April when the Miami Heat lost to the Philadelphia 76ers in the Play-In Tournament. Butler sat out the entire playoffs as he needed 4-8 weeks to recover.

While rehabilitating, Butler appeared in a 'Bad Boys' ad with actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. He played one-on-one basketball against Camila Cabello and recently shared on Instagram that he was in Shanghai, China.

On Tuesday, 'Jimmy Buckets' gave his fans an update about his summer with a post on IG:

“a night was had in stockholm sweden. shouts to @justintimberlake for a helluva damn show🤘"

Justin Timberlake’s 'The Forget Tomorrow World Tour' started on Apr. 29 in North American cities, with the opening act in Vancouver, BC. In late July, the series of concerts jumped to Europe, beginning with a massive showing in Krakow, Poland. Butler met up with the artist for the show in Stockholm.

In Jimmy Butler’s post, he included a clip where Timberlake sang 'Suit & Tie'. When the singer saw Butler, he busted out the player’s hilarious 'Time Out' gesture, which Butler used on Al Horford in the 2023 playoffs.

Perhaps the most entertaining part of Butler’s post was the video of the Miami Heat franchise cornerstone singing a few bars of 'Until the End of Time'. The former Minnesota Timberwolves forward may have been out of tune but he more than made up for it with his expression.

A night was certainly had as 'Jimmy Buckets' had a blast watching Justin Timberlake perform at the T2 Arena in Sweden.

Justin Timberlake will not be rooting for Jimmy Butler once the 2024-25 NBA season starts

Despite their meeting in Europe, Justin Timberlake will not be rooting for Jimmy Butler once the 2024-25 season starts. The singer is a longtime minority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies with his wife Jessica Biel.

Timberlake has been passionately supportive of the franchise, even pushing back against some fans who called him a bandwagon fan of the Grizzlies.

The former ‘N Sync member responded to somebody on X, formerly Twitter, with this post:

“Bandwagon.
“Uh... I'm from Memphis and I'm an owner. Anyone else?”

Jimmy Butler’s Heat will face Justin Timberlake’s Grizzlies for the first time next season in March 2025. Butler and Co. will be on the road and it’s guaranteed the artist will not be cheering for the Miami star.
