Putting Steph Curry in the same bracket as Michael Jordan is disrespectful to the Warriors star, claims popular Twitch streamer
Watching Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors play their first Emirates NBA Cup on Tuesday left popular Twitch streamer FlightReacts electrified. The streamer, known for being a Curry fan, didn't hold back his excitement as the Warriors star hit the dagger 3-pointer over the Dallas Mavericks in Klay Thompson's return, sparking a debate about Michael Jordan in the process.
To help the Warriors win on Tuesday, the Warriors star finished with 37 points, six rebounds and seven assists. His performance included 12 straight points in the clutch and the deep 3-pointer that sealed the 120-117 win.
FlightReacts, who has 2.3 million followers on Twitch, leaped out of his chair and bounced in excitement after witnessing Curry's clutch shot. He then boldly stated why Curry should no longer be compared to the legendary Chicago Bulls player.
"There's no more talk with Michael Jordan in the same conversation, there's no more," the streamer said. "Having Michael Jordan in the same talks as Curry in the conversation is disrespectful to Curry."
A huge basketball fan, FlightReacts has built a following with content featuring his reactions to NBA highlights, along with showcasing his own on-court skills on his YouTube channel, which boasts over 4.8 million subscribers.

Steph Curry reacts to playing against Klay Thompson for the first time
For the first time after 13 seasons, Steph Curry played against Klay Thompson on Tuesday. It was the first time the former Warriors star visited Chase Center as part of the opposing team. Over the summer, Thompson switched teams and joined the Mavericks after signing a three-year, $50 million contract.
Thompson, the 11th pick in the 2011 NBA draft, finished with 22 points on 50% shooting from deep. However, Curry spoiled his return with his clutch performance, drilling five triples en route to 37 points.
After the game, the two-time MVP spoke about his experience playing against Thompson for the first time.
"That’s my guy, my friend, my road dog for 13 years," Curry said. "There’s a lot of history, so you’re going to have a lot of back and forth. Some of it was competitive, some of it was fun. Thankfully we were all able to focus on the game, hoop and compete. It was a pretty special night all the way around."
Meanwhile, Thompson said he had fun playing against his former teammates.
"It was fun to match up with Steph," the four-time champion said. "And it hurts to be on the other side of one of his flurries. The guy got hot at the end and made some ridiculous shots and being on the other end, it sucks."
The two teams will meet again on Feb. 13 when Golden State travels to Dallas.
