Ranking the top five most iconic LeBron James' shoes
LeBron James' decision to sign with Nike made him a very wealthy man. The LA Lakers star signed a $90 million contract with the sneaker company before he ever played an NBA game. He later signed a lifetime contract with Nike worth upwards of $1 billion.

1. LeBron 9 'Watch the Throne'
The LeBron 9 'Watch the Throne' originally debuted in 2011. Rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West were both gifted a pair during the tour for their joint album 'Watch the Throne'. The album inspired the shoe's name.
The shoes were highly anticipated upon their announcement. Fans had to wait more than a decade for their release. The shoes were finally released to the public in 2022, retailing at $230. A gold sample of the iconic shoe was displayed in 2019. However, it was not released to the public.

2. LeBron 6 'Stewie Griffin'
The LeBron 6 'Stewie Griffin' is one of James' most iconic shoes. However, they have never been made available to the public. The 'Stewie Griffin 6's' are one of the rarest shoes in James' collection. Pairs have been sold for more than $20,000.
The iconic shoes are inspired by Family Guy character Stewie Griffin. They were originally created in 2009.

3. LeBron X 'Championship Pack'
The LeBron X 'Championship Pack' was released in 2013 to commemorate the superstar winning his second straight championship with the Miami Heat. The 'Championship Pack' contains two pairs of LeBron X sneakers.
A limited number of pairs were made available to the public. It was one of James' fastest selling shoes of all-time. The LeBron X 'Championship Pack' is available on secondary markets, with the price generally ranging from $3,000 to $5,000.

4. LeBron 4 'All Star'
The LeBron 4 'All Star' was originally released to the public in limited quanties on February 15, 2007. James wore a version of the signature shoe at the 2007 NBA All-Star Game. The shoes originally retailed at $150. They are currently available in secondary markets. The price ranges from $500 to $1,000.

5. LeBron James 'Zoom Generation'
The 'Zoom Generation' was James' first signature shoe with Nike. The four-time NBA champion wore the shoes in his NBA debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 'Zoom Generation' was originally released in 2003. They have been retroed by Nike.
The shoes have become a staple amongst sneakerheads and remain iconic. The four-time NBA MVP still keeps the 'Zoom Generation' in his sneaker rotation 20 years later.
