Ramiyah Guerra and Dillingham have been together since he was in college. The couple frequently use their social media to appreciate each other.

Dillingham was recruited out of the University of Kentucky. He played one year of college basketball and declared for the NBA draft. Dillingham was scouted as one of the best guards in the 2024 NBA draft.

However, with Mike Conley Jr. on the roster, Dillingham is expected to serve as the backup point guard for the team. When it comes to scoring and efficiency, Dillingham has a lot to improve. It will be interesting to see his chemistry with Anthony Edwards.

Rob Dillingham is ready to compete against LeBron James

The 2024-25 season will see the Minnesota Timberwolves face LeBron James and the LA Lakers in their opening game. While both teams will look to set an early tone for the season, it will hold a different meaning for Rob Dillingham.

The Timberwolves rookie has long admired James since he was a child. After getting picked on the 2024 draft night, Dillingham spoke to SiriusXM NBA Radio. When asked who he was most excited to compete against, he named LeBron.

“It probably would be LeBron," Dillingham said. "'Cause it’s LeBron. He’s been playing in the league for so long. We watched him since we were little kids, so. You wouldn’t even think you’d be playing against LeBron someday, so, definitely seeing LeBron and playing against him.”

The Timberwolves faced the Lakers in a preseason game. Dillingham played 25 minutes in the game, scoring 21 points. However, James and Anthony Davis both sat out for the game.

Dillingham was selected 8th overall by the San Antonio Spurs. However, the Timberwolves acquired him on the same night in exchange for 2030 and 2031 first-round picks. It will be a night to remember for Dillingham as he takes the court against the Lakers superstar.
