Russell Westbrook shared a cryptic post on Instagram following the Denver Nuggets’ commanding 127-102 victory over the Lakers on Saturday. Westbrook showcased incredible energy and hustle throughout the game against his former team, seemingly playing with something to prove.

The former league MVP dismantled the Lakers’ defense with his sharp passing and made his presence felt offensively, finishing with yet another impressive double-double performance.

The Nuggets' point guard delivered a well-rounded performance off the bench, stuffing the stat sheet with 14 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists, while committing three turnovers.

Westbrook shot an efficient 6 of 10 from the field, including 1 of 4 from beyond the arc, in 24:18 minutes. He also made one of his two free throws and finished the game with an impressive plus/minus of +17.
