LeBron James and Anthony Davis combined for 63 points, 23 rebounds and 12 assists to lead their team to victory. The two superstars got plenty of help from the rest of the roster, though.
The Kings looked like they were going to be blown away early in the fourth quarter but kept fighting. Domantas Sabonis had 29 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal. DeMar DeRozan and De'Aaron Fox tallied 51 points, 13 assists and five rebounds together.
The Lakers are now 3-0 while the Kings dropped to 0-2 following Saturday's game.

Sacramento Kings vs LA Lakers: Game Summary
The Lakers played like the team with sufficient rest to open the game. They showed more energy and executed with more precision than their visitors. LA surged to a 14-6 lead midway through the first quarter. Anthony Davis' nine points helped the hosts to a 28-26 advantage after 12 minutes.
The LA Lakers had another strong burst to open the second quarter, dropping a 14-1 run in the first four minutes for a 42-27 lead. LeBron James had six points and two assists in that spurt.
The Sacramento Kings refused to cave in and steadily battled their way back into the game. De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk and Keegan Murray orchestrated multiple rallies to trail 64-60 at halftime.
The Kings and the Lakers traded haymakers for most of the second half. Sacramento, which had stuttering starts in the first and second quarters, came out on fire to open the third period. Domantas Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox and DeMar DeRozan helped the Kings outscore the Lakers 34-23 in the said quarter to grab the lead 94-87 before the final frame.
After allowing the Sacramento Kings to surge past them, the LA Lakers exploded in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter. Behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the hosts dropped a sizzling 21-0 run to turn a seven-point deficit into a 108-94 advantage. It looked like a rout was on the way but the Lakers got complacent.
Sacramento responded with a series of mini runs to crawl within 125-123 of the Lakers with 55.1 left in the game. Anthony Davis’ free throws in the last 10.1 seconds gave the Lakers a 131-127 lead. Following a timeout, the Kings fumbled their play, allowing the home team to hold on for the win.
