The Houston Rockets dominated the San Antonio Spurs from start to finish to win 118-106 on Wednesday. Houston led 64-36 at halftime and never looked back. Amen Thompson led the Rockets with 25 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks.

Jalen Green, who carried the home team's offense in the first half, finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Alperen Sengun contributed nine points, 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 19 minutes.

None of the Spurs starters reached double-digit scoring. Keldon Johnson and Stephon Castle came off the bench to combine for 44 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and four steals. San Antonio lost the season series 3-1 to Houston.

The San Antonio Spurs continued their four-game road trip with a showdown against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Without Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs hoped to end a three-game losing slump and even the season series with their opponents.

Jalen Green pushed the Rockets to a 34-20 lead in the first quarter. Green had 10 points and two assists. Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson helped the team to a commanding advantage after 12 minutes. Houston's defense held San Antonio to 1-for-9 shooting from deep.
