Savannah James proves she's a Lil Wayne superfan as she perfectly sings along to 'Hot Boys'
Savannah James, the wife of NBA superstar LeBron James, showed off her hip hop knowledge and proved that she is a superfan of famous rapper Lil Wayne. On Saturday, James enjoyed some time off at home and perfectly sang along to the classic Cash Money Records track, "We on Fire," by the Hot Boys. James didn't seem to miss a beat as she followed along with all the lyrics.
The "Lil' Weezyana Fest 2024" was released on Nov. 2 on Amazon. Lil Wayne reunited with members of Cash Money Records like Juvenile, BG, Turk and Big Tymers in New Orleans. The group performed some of their famous songs that date back to the late nineties and Savannah James is clearly a fan.
James posted several short clips of her enjoying the concert and captioned the first clip with the following message:
"Can't wait to see this."
James also showed off a nifty black and gold Cash Money t-shirt that she was wearing.
Lil Wayne was the youngest member of the Hot Boys group which included Juvenile, B.G. and Turk. They released their first album, "Get it How you Live!," in 1997 when Lil Wayne was just 15 years old. Wayne followed that up with his first solo album titled "The Block is Hot" in 1999.
After his success with the Hot Boys, Lil Wayne branched out to work on his own projects and went on to have tremendous success as a rapper. He has gone on to win five Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards and 11 BET Awards, and is considered one of the greatest rappers of his generation.
Savannah James makes appearance on Tamron Hall Show to discuss Bronny James' NBA debut
From a basketball standpoint, it has been an exciting year for the James family. LeBron James signed a two-year extension with the Los Angeles Lakers and won an Olympic gold medal in Paris this summer. Bronny James, the son of Savannah and Lebron James, also made his highly anticipated NBA debut last month.
Savannah James recently made an appearance on the "Tamron Hall Show" to discuss her son taking the court. She spoke of how proud she was to see Bronny James playing alongside his father.
"Extremely proud ... Understanding the moment and the history. You know, just how special it was," said James.
LeBron and Bronny James shared a historic moment when they became the first father-son duo to play together in an NBA game earlier this season during a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Crypto.com Arena on Oct. 22.
