"Scottie Pippen outperformed all of crypto Twitter": Internet reacts to Bulls legend's prophetic prediction as Bitcoin soars to an all-time high
Scottie Pippen's Nostradamus-like prediction about Bitcoin's value on Nov. 5 proved spot-on, leaving fans on social media baffled. The former Chicago Bulls legend had tweeted about the development in September this year, and at the time of writing, Bitcoin had soared to an all-time high, topping $87,000 for the first time.
Pippen had tweeted that the enigmatic Satoshi Nakamoto had appeared in his dream foretelling the future value.
"Satoshi Nakamoto visited me in my dream last night and predicted that #Bitcoin would be at $84,650 on November 5, 2024. Not financial advice."
Responses started pouring in soon after on social media. One of the fans wrote:

"Always liked you as a player. Now that you are a bitcoiner, Absolute legend !!!!"
@tranquil2600 was more keen on knowing Nakamoto's identity.
"What did he look like?"
According to The Guardian, Bitcoin hit a record-high of $87,198, before dipping back slightly on Monday. The price is more than 2x from about $37,000 a year ago.
Scottie Pippen says bitcoin reminds him of the Bulls dynasty
Earlier, Scottie Pippen took to X (formerly Twitter) to compare Bitcoin's growth to the Chicago Bulls dynasty that began in 1991.
"Bitcoin in 2024 is giving me flashbacks to the Bulls in ’91… a dynasty just starting. Get ready for what’s next."
Pippen, along with Michael Jordan led the Bulls to win six titles in the 1990s, completing multiple three-peats and finishing one regular season (the 1995-96 season) with an impressive 72 regular-season wins. The 7x All-Star was a vital cog in the Chicago outfit winning all of his championships with the franchise. He ended his storied career averaging 16.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game shooting 47.3 percent.
He played for the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers before ending his career with the Bulls in the 2003-04 season. Pippen was known for being a force on defense, earning 10 NBA All-Defensive Team. One of his best defensive performances was when he picked Magic Johnson full court during the NBA Finals leaving one of the most iconic guards of the sport spellbound.
Now, it remains to be seen if Scottie Pippen's next Bitcoin statement comes true.
