Scottie Pippen shared his reaction to his son Scotty Pippen Jr.'s outstanding performance during the Memphis Grizzlies' 142-131 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Pippen Jr. delivered a career-high in points, recording a double-double.
What made the night even more special was that his remarkable showing came against the very franchise where his father, Scottie, helped secure six championships.
Pippen Jr. orchestrated the Grizzlies' offense with his impressive playmaking abilities, seamlessly setting up his teammates while also leading the scoring effort. The former Vanderbilt guard posted a team-high and career-best performance in points.
The Grizzlies' point guard concluded the game with 30 points, 10 assists and two rebounds, shooting an incredible 13 of 16 from the field, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc.
After witnessing his son’s electrifying performance at the United Center, Scottie Pippen shared his on Instagram. The Bulls legend shared a post on his story and summed up his pride with three "fire" emojis, celebrating his son's standout game.
Meanwhile, Larsa Pippen, Scottie Pippen's ex-wife and Pippen Jr.'s mother, also praised the Grizzlies' point guard for his exceptional performance against the Bulls.

Scotty Pippen Jr. accomplished a rare feat at the United Center, becoming the first player to achieve a milestone last set by his father, Scottie Pippen. Both Pippen Jr. and his father are the only players to record at least 25 points, eight assists and shoot 80% from the field in a game at the iconic arena.
The Grizzlies guard was overjoyed after delivering a game-winning performance at the arena which is a part of his father's legacy.

This season, the former Lakers guard is averaging 12.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game, shooting an impressive 48.5% from the field, including 40.0% from beyond the arc.
