Scottie Pippen resorts to cryptocurrency promotions on his latest tweet: 'Are you ready?'

Over the past few days, six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen has become active on X (formerly Twitter) to discuss cryptocurrency, and on Tuesday, he revealed his "secret project coming to the blockchain" is gaining interest.

Scottie Pippen recently rekindled his interest in cryptocurrency, engaging his social media followers in debates about whether he should invest in Ethereum or Solana and the merits of meme coins versus utility coins.

In the past 24 hours, he began teasing a blockchain project that he only disclosed to a select few who retweeted his posts. In his latest post, he said:

"I received thousands of messages about the SECRET PROJECT coming to the blockchain. Today, I'll send a private invite link to 50 more people who RETWEET this. Are you ready?"

On Monday, he said:

"There is something BIG coming to the blockchain! It’s a secret for now… but I’ll send a private link to 10 people who RETWEET this. Stay tuned!"

Pippen has been a vocal supporter of crypto for a while. He launched his own non-fungible token (NFT) collection in late 2022.

As noted in a report by The Daily Hodl, according to the NFT marketplace OpenSea, the collection has registered 435 ETH in total volume.

His inquiry about Ethereum versus Solana elicited over 5,000 comments, including a response from Dogecoin co-creator Billy Markus, also known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, who promoted his "dog coin."
