Scottie Pippen predicted how Bitcoin would perform

Scottie Pippen shared a crypto-related vision on his X account in September. According to Pippen, Satoshi Nakamoto, the name used by the inventor of Bitcoin and the first blockchain, appeared in a dream. The dream that the six-time NBA champion claimed to have came to fruition on Nov. 5.

"Satoshi Nakamoto visited me in my dream last night and predicted that #Bitcoin would be at $84,650 on November 5, 2024. Not financial advice," Pippen posted.

The cryptocurrency achieved new heights and soared to $87,000 for the first time.

Around the same time, Pippen compared Bitcoin to one of his Bulls teams. The Hall of Fame forward compared the cryptocurrency to the 1991 championship team. During that year, Chicago won the first of their six titles, sparking a dynasty throughout the 1990s.

The seven-time All-Star said that the Bitcoin of 2024 is similar to the Bulls' 1991 team.

"Bitcoin in 2024 is giving me flashbacks to the Bulls in ’91… a dynasty just starting. Get ready for what’s next."

Before he was into the crypto world, Pippen played for the Bulls, for 12 years and was the second option next to Michael Jordan. He was part of countless historic teams throughout his career, including the 1995-96 Chicago team had a 72-10 record and won the championship.

Following his time with the Bulls, he joined the Houston Rockets for one season before playing for the Portland Trail Blazers. He played in Portland for four years, filling in as a veteran role player.

In his final year, he returned to the team where he had the most success and played for 23 games, averaging 5.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
