Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's wife Hailey Summers shares adorable snap of OKC star cradling 3-month-old son Ares
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and his wife, Hailey Summers, were blessed with a son earlier this year in April. The wife of the OKC Thunder star posted a picture of her husband cradling their newborn son on her Instagram story.
In the picture, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is seen gently holding his son, Ares, who is seen smiling as SGA looks at him adoringly.
"Sunshine," Summers wrote on the story.
SGA and Summers announced in December last year that they were expecting a baby. After their son was born on April 25, the couple revealed that they had named their son "Ares."
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was part of the Canadian basketball team for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Entering the Olympics, Canada was considered a formidable team that could have challenged the loaded Team USA for the gold medal.
However, they were defeated by Victor Wembanyama and the French basketball team in the quarterfinals of the tournament, with France winning 82-73.
Last season, the Thunder, led by Gilgeous-Alexander, was the No. 1 team in the Western Conference. SGA finished second in the MVP voting behind Nikola Jokic. Thunder will again enter the 2024-25 season as the top teams in the West.

After six years of dating the couple got married on Valentine's Day earlier this year (2024). The couple announced their wedding through their social media posts.
Their son Ares Alexander was born on April 25 when the Thunder was facing the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the 2024 Western Conference playoffs. He was born on the same day when the Thunder defeated the Pelicans in Game 2.
Interestingly, like SGA, Summers has also been an athlete. She played soccer in her college for five years. She played for the University of Albany in New York from 2017 to 2021.
