Shaquille O'Neal launches new music tournament for independent artists to compete for $20,000 prize

Shaquille O'Neal is one of the most successful business entrepreneurs among the former and current NBA players. The LA Lakers legend is ready to add another milestone to his business resume.

Earlier today, in conversation with his co-host Diesel Dog Mafia Kayo, on his podcast "WHOZFIRE", Shaq said he wanted to hold a music tournament for independent artists on his Livestream.

"I'll tell you what, after what I heard today, $20,000," Shaq said. "Some people will get on and don't like to help others. I always help others. DJ Diesel plays unreleased music. Guess what, if you are fire, you are fire. it doesn't matter if you are a superstar or not. So we wanna know who's fire."

The competition will have a song vs. song format and will be organized in a bracket-style tournament, similar to the NCAA's March Madness Music Festival.

Shaquille O'Neal buys his second Cybertruck

There are only a few vehicles in the world that could give Shaquille O'Neal the true comfort of sitting inside a car unless it is specially customized for him. In July, Shaq got his first CyberBeast, a widebody Carbon Fiber version of the Cybertruck customized to fit the 7-foot big man.

However, the four-time NBA champion bought his first CyberBeast in Las Vegas, and now that he is in Atlanta, he doesn't want to have it shipped from Vegas. Shaq called Effortless Motors on FaceTime, the same company that customized his first CyberBeast, and said:

"I'm missing my Cybertruck but I don't want to ship it from Vegas to Atlanta. So I'm just going to go ahead and buy another one, so I'mma need another one."

O'Neal received assurance that it would be delivered in a few weeks. True to their word, the company delivered the new CyberBeast to the basketball legend.
