"She owes us nothing": Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union makes her feelings known about Adele's 'epic' Vegas farewell

Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union was in attendance at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as Adele delivered the last performance of her Las Vegas residency on Saturday. The British singer's residency was two years long and she did a total of 100 shows in the city.

Gabrielle Union made a series of posts from the show on Instagram. She posted pictures and videos from the show with the singer pouring her heart out for her audience on the last day of her performance.

Union showed love to the "Someone Like You" singer in the caption. She also thanked her husband for the "wrap gift."

"Rumor has it… she owes us nothing ♥️ @adele," Union wrote in the caption.

"Thank you @dwyanewade for the most epic wrap gift I could imagine."

As if she wasn't done praising the singer, Union also shared a couple of Instagram stories. She reposted one of her own posts and shared the experience in the caption.

"@adele last Vegas show and it felt like having a huge sleepover with you homegirl who happens to be able to sing her face off. What a great time!!"

Adele might take a long break from music, as she had previously said. After the show, Adele said that she doesn't know when she will pick up the mic again. However, the artist has assured that the break won't be forever.

It seems like the Wade family is a big Adele fan. In 2021, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade's daughter Kaavia James dressed as Adele for Halloween. On Oct. 31, 2021, Union posted a picture of Kaavia in a black and white gown, exactly the one that Adele wore a month ago.

Of the five pictures that Union posted, four of them were of her daughter in the dress and the fifth picture was of the English singer.

Among the pictures that Adele posted on September 19, 2021, was one featuring her longtime boyfriend Rich Paul. Paul is also the agent of Dwyane Wade's former Miami Heat teammate and longtime friend LeBron James.

Adele confirmed her engagement to Rich Paul during a concert in Munich in August. When a fan proposed to her during the performance, Adele said that she was already getting married.

"I can’t marry you—because I’m already getting married!" she told the fan.

Last year, there were also rumors that the "Hello" singer was already married to Paul after a video from Alan Carr's comedy show went viral on social media. During his comedy show in November 2023, which Adele was also attending, Carr asked if anyone had gotten married recently, Adele raised her hand and said:

There has been no confirmation about the date of the wedding. When there is one, perhaps Wades will be on the guests' list.
