Sibling love in full display as Dwyane Wade's sister Tragil Wade hyped over latest announcement: "We are about to get a statue"

The long-awaited Dwyane Wade statue outside Kaseya Center in Miami now has an unveiling date. After it was announced last season that the three-time NBA champ and Basketball Hall of Famer would be immortalized with a statue outside Kaseya Center in Miami, the team announced an unveiling ceremony scheduled for next month.

In response to the news of the two-night affair, which will start with the statue unveiling on Oct. 27, followed by Dwyane Wade night on Oct. 28 when the Heat host the Detroit Pistons, Dwyane's sister, Tragil Wade, took to Instagram to react to the news.

In a heartfelt post on Thursday, she shared a promotional image announcing the two-day celebration for the Hall of Famer.

In the comments section, the two siblings exchanged heartfelt messages after Wade reposted his sister's post on his Instagram story. In the comments section of the post, Dwyane Wade wrote:

"Our family name is gonna be set in stone. Thank you babe—without you this isn’t possible. Ain’t no way. I love me some you."

The NBA legend's sister then responded, writing:

"Aww I Love you more. People always laugh when I consistently say 'we.' Throughout your career, it was always 'we won' or 'we lost.' Now I'm able to acknowledge that 'we are about to get' a statue."

When the figure is unveiled on Oct. 27, it's a safe bet to assume that Wade's sister Tragil will likely be in attendance so long as her schedule permits.

Looking at the details surrounding Dwyane Wade's statue outside of the Kaseya Center

In January, the Miami Heat announced that Dwyane Wade, whom Heat President Pat Riley has called the face of the franchise, would be getting a statue outside Kaseya Center.

At the time, Riley explained that several years before, when the franchise was retiring Wade's No. 3 jersey, regardless of whether or not the three-time champ was retired, he would forever be the face of the Heat.

As a result, the artist duo of Omri Amrany and Oscar Leon, who had previously created other famous statues of NBA players, would be commissioned to create Wade's carving.

The Rotblatt Armany Studio sculptors had previously created figures of other NBA players such as Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki, Shaquille O'Neal and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Although it's unclear what pose Wade's statue will be in, fans will have a chance to attend the Oct. 27 unveiling.

The event will include both Pat Riley and coach Erik Spoelstra, as well as the current Miami Heat roster. In addition, the expectation among fans is that a number of Wade's former teammates will also likely attend the event, which will include a concert by artists Rick Ross and Nino Breeze.

The following night, the Heat will hold Dwyane Wade night, where the franchise will honor the legendary guard with tributes, as well as a halftime ceremony where he will address the crowd.
