The wife of the Miami Heat legend donned a cutout black dress for the occasion. Dwyane Wade also went all-black with his dress, donning a black jacket and pairing it with a pair of black trousers and black Prada shoes.

Union posted a series of pictures on her Instagram handle and added the caption with a birthday greeting for her friend Mia.

Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union becomes the latest celebrity to leave X

Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union has joined the list of many big names leaving X, formerly known as "Twitter". The Hollywood actress released a statement on her X handle, mentioning why she departed from the social media platform.

Union's statement read that she was leaving the platform because of the changes made in the "terms of service." She also wrote that the return of 'some figures' on the platform was also behind her decision to leave X.

"It’s been real!" the title of the post read.
"There are pivotal moments in life when we must declare that enough is enough—and for me, today is that day," Union started.
"Platforms like X were founded on authentic connections, true engagement, and creative expression, all anchored in respect for user privacy and trust," Union continued. "Yet, with the recent and upcoming changes to the terms of service—and the return of volatile figures—I find myself at a crossroads, facing a direction I can no longer fully support."
"I am committed to engaging in spaces that truly value inclusivity, respect, and integrity in the digital world. Sometimes, that means recognizing the last straw and knowing when to step away."

She also said that she was going to be available on other social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook and other platforms. While she assured her followers she wouldn't disappear, she urged others to spread love.

Before Gabrielle Union, NBA superstar and her husband's friend LeBron James also bid farewell to the social media platform.
