Halloween is still more than a month away, but the kid is ready with his costume featuring Steph Curry.

While the kid's costume is priceless, Steph Curry's actual rookie card from 2009 is worth $5.9 million. It's currently the most valuable basketball card on the planet after it was sold for a record in 2021. It was Curry's 2009-10 National Treasures Autographed Logoman Rookie Card.

The value of the Golden State Warriors superstar's card has skyrocketed since he took over the league in 2015 when he won his first NBA MVP and championship. His valuable rookie card likely increased in value since he won his fourth title a year after it was sold for $5.9 million.

With Curry's career on the back end, it's safe to say that his legacy is secured and his memorabilia should be up there among the most valuable. Some of his other expensive trading cards include the 2009 Panini Absolute RC #144 - Signature Materials NBA Logo 1 of 1 ($492,000) and 2009 Topps Chrome Standard and Gold parallels ($204,000).

Steph Curry enters season without Klay Thompson by his side

For the first time since the 2010-11 season, Steph Curry will be playing without Klay Thompson as his teammate. Thompson left the Golden State Warriors in free agency and signed with the Dallas Mavericks. Curry and Thompson will be foes for the first time in their careers next season.

The Warriors decided to do a simple rebuild after Thompson's departure by bringing in a bunch of role players like Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson and D'Anthony Melton. They are also banking on Brandin Podzmieski to take the next leap as a potential starter alongside Curry.

Golden State also retained Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Kevon Looney and Moses Moody among others.

Green is likely going nowhere unless the organization has had enough of his antics. Wiggins, Kuminga, Looney and Moody are expected to be in trade rumors until the deadline.
