Steph Curry chose himself over LeBron James, Michael Jordan and other legends, had fans call him ‘GOAT’: “He spoke real,” “I heard zero lies here”
Steph Curry could be the greatest shooter of all time due to his pure talent to not miss from anywhere on the court. The star point guard of the Golden State Warriors was recently asked which players he thinks are better, and his choices had fans in agreement with him.
Curry is one of the best players in basketball history for how he revolutionized the sport. His name has been brought up by many as one of the greats. Even NBA legends like Shaquille O'Neal have expressed high regard for the Baby-Faced Assassin.
In a video by Sports Illustrated, the eight-time All-Star picked players from the past and even current players. He was asked to choose which player he prefers or thinks is better. The interviewer initially wanted Steph to pick between Kobe Bryant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The four-time champion picked Bryant and moved on to the next one. The next pair was between himself and the Black Mamba. Curry didn't hesitate to choose himself until there were no more choices left.
Fans couldn't help but agree with Curry's confidence in himself. Here are some of the best reactions from fans of the two-time MVP.
Curry has always remained humble since he started in the league, and this approach has helped him gain a ton of fans and incredible fame throughout the association. Some fans have even demanded the one-time Finals MVP assert his confidence and voice out how great he is.

Steph Curry's viral video where he hurls full-court shots is fake
Being named Sports Illustrated's 2022 Sportsperson of the Year this week isn't the only viral moment for Steph Curry. Sports Illustrated posted a video earlier this week with Curry making five full-court shots in a row. This surprised everyone and had the masses fooled by it.
Fans are well-aware of how talented he is in making long-range shots, so seeing the video didn't feel strange at all.
After the video blew up and gained a great deal of attention, the Warriors guard was flattered that most people believed he could do such stunts. Sports Illustrated followed the video up by posting a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, showing how they were able to manipulate the video.
Even Steph's coach Steve Kerr knew it was fake when his All-Star guard made five shots in a row from full court. He said he knows Curry can make three consecutive shots from the full court, but not five.
"I knew it was fake when he made five in a row," said Kerr. Three in a row, he could do that."
Steph Curry himself admitted that the video was altered. However, he wanted to make things clear with his ability to shoot from great distances.
"We had some fun with it, the Sports Illustrated team, coming with some heat. I did make two of them, though. Just in case anybody was wondering."
