Steph Curry was huge for Team USA in the final minutes of their win over France in the gold medal game on Saturday. Curry also gave his seal of approval to Devin Booker for being their unsung hero and MVP of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a post on his Instagram stories, Curry shared a quote from head coach Steve Kerr praising Booker's play for Team USA in the tournament. Booker's contributions have not been talked about enough, with Kerr and Curry making sure it doesn't go unnoticed.

Steph Curry and Devin Booker played in all of Team USA's games at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Curry was phenomenal in the win over France in the gold medal game, hitting four 3-point shots after the hosts were within three points.

Booker, on the other hand, had 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists on Saturday. He averaged 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game on 56.8% shooting from the field. He was also valuable on the defensive end, playing top-notch on that side of the ball.

Team USA coach Steve Kerr even interrupted his press conference after the game to give a shout-out to Booker's performance.

"Just one last thing – Devin Booker is an amazing basketball player. He was incredible throughout this entire run. What he does, play after play, is rock solid. He completely changed his role from the NBA to now. He was our unsung MVP. I just wanted to say that," Kerr said. [H/T BasketNews]

Steph Curry is already one of the greatest basketball players in history but it's fair to say that his career is complete after winning his first Olympic gold medal. It was the only hardware missing in Curry's amazing career and he finally won it in his maiden Olympic games.

Curry came up huge for Team USA, especially in the final two games of the tournament against Serbia and France. The Golden State Warriors superstar helped mount a comeback in the semifinals to beat Serbia by scoring a tournament-high 36 points.

With France inching closer late in the fourth quarter, Curry hit four 3-point shots to put the game away and cement his legacy. He finished with 24 points, five assists and eight 3-pointers, which meant all of his field goals in the final were from beyond the arc.

Here's what Curry said after the game:

"That was an unbelievable moment. I've been blessed to play basketball at a high level for a very long time. I don't know, this ranks very, very high in terms of the excitement and the sense of relief getting to the finish line." [H/T New York Post]
