Steph Curry reacted to DJ Khaled's announcement of a new date for his celebrity golf tournament fundraiser. Some of the confirmed participants include Michael Jordan's son, Marcus Jordan, Quavo and Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade.

In an Instagram story, Curry shared DJ Khaled's post about his We The Best Foundation x Jordan Celebrity Golf Classic fundraising tournament. The Golden State Warriors star wished all the players luck for the event on Dec. 5 in Miami.

"Wishing all the junior golfers a good luck. Y'all about to lock in," Curry wrote.

The two-time MVP is an avid golfer and has participated in many tournaments over the years. He won the 2023 American Century Championship but failed to defend it this past summer due to his obligations for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Steph Curry would have loved to be a part of the tournament, but the Golden State Warriors have a game on Dec. 5 against the Houston Rockets at the Chase Center. One NBA player participating, though, is Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat. The Heat are off that day and will be in the middle of a four-game homestand.

Other athletes in the tournament include NBA legends Dwyane Wade and Alonzo Mourning, World Series winner CC Sabathia, former NFL stars Terrell Owens and Victor Cruz, members of Eastside Golf and golfer Mina Harigae.

Actor Anthony Anderson, golf content creator Hally Leadbetter, radio host Angie Martinez, ESPN journalist Michael Eaves and Michael Jordan's son Marcus Jordan rounds out the players.

At the age of 10, Steph Curry fell in love with golf because of his father, Dell Curry. Steph would play golf on the side as he focused on his basketball career. He has aspirations to have a pro golf career once he retires from the NBA, which is not surprising considering how good he's in the sport.

Curry has a handicap of +1.3, which is considered excellent and better than most people who play the sport. He already showcased it last year at the American Century Championship, taking home the trophy and als sinking a hole in one.

"I kind of blacked out, so I don't even know where that top-end speed and going from zero to a hundred real quick came from," Curry told Deadline about his shot.
"But that's what happens when you don't have any real preparation for thinking that hole in one was going to happen."

Curry further showed his love for the sport when he launched his "Underrated Golf" program aimed at helping student-athletes who want to pursue golf.
