Steph Curry rocks bespectacled look as he supports Team USA gymnasts at women’s all-around final
Steph Curry is currently in Paris, trying to win his first Olympic gold medal with Team USA. The Golden State Warriors star is one of the team's leaders alongside LeBron James and Kevin Durant, although the start of the basketball tournament has been different for the two forwards in comparison to Curry.
After Team USA dominated South Sudan with a 103-86 win on Wednesday, Curry was spotted supporting members of the USA delegation playing different sports. The cameras spotted the four-time NBA champion while watching Team USA gymnasts at the all-around final.
Curry was wearing glasses while watching the show.
This year, two major gymnasts, Simone Biles and Suni Lee, are going at it for the gold medal in women's all-around final event.
Steph Curry isn't the only player supporting the Team USA gymnasts, as A'ja Wilson previously watched and hyped up Jordan Chiles over her floor routine. Anthony Edwards was having a blast watching the table tennis competition, stealing the spotlight with his reactions.
Alongside Steph Curry, Team USA teammates Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Tyrese Haliburton, and Jrue Holiday showed their support for Simone Biles by attending the women's all-around final.
Steph Curry had a poor performance against South Sudan
Before watching Simone Biles and Suni Lee compete in the all-around final, Steph Curry struggled to get things going against South Sudan on Wednesday.
He only scored three points, shooting just 1-of-9 from the field, including 0-for-6 from 3 and dished four assists in a terrible game.
With Bam Adebayo leading the way, Team USA didn't have much trouble beating South Sudan a couple of weeks after struggling to beat them in the pre-Olympic preparations. That game was decided by a clutch shot by LeBron James in the final seconds.
Curry hasn't had the best start to the Olympic tournament and the upcoming game against Puerto Rico presents a good opportunity to bounce back.
Derrick White and Jrue Holiday have done a terrific job on the backcourt, but there's no doubt that Curry will continue to start in the backcourt for Team USA.
