Steph Curry’s Olympic medal heroics pushes rapper Action Bronson to cop Under Armour sneakers

Winning a gold medal for Team USA was a massive achievement for Steph Curry, and his sponsor, Under Armour, seems to be reaping the benefits of another championship run from the star. After the point guard's astonishing performance at the Paris Olympic finals, rapper Action Bronson is the latest high-profile figure to jump on the Curry bandwagon.

Bronson is a well-known sneakerhead and has an impressive collection. The New York native has a deep enthusiasm for shoes and an extensive knowledge of the market. After seeing Steph Curry dominate in France to take home the gold medal, Bronson had the sudden urge to put on a pair of Under Armour sneakers.

LeBron James may have been named the Olympics MVP, but all the headlines fell to Steph Curry after an astonishing shooting display in the 98-87 victory over France in the final.

Curry recorded four 3-pointers in the last three minutes of the game to quell any hopes of a late French comeback. He finished with a game-high 24 points and chipped in with five assists and two steals to lead his nation to their fifth consecutive gold medal at the men's basketball event.

After his final 3-pointer, Curry bade farewell to the Paris crowd with his signature night-night celebration. Later that night, he was spotted wearing a hoodie with the words "nuit nuit," a direct translation of "night night" in French. The phrase is trending on social media among basketball fans and celebrities, and it has only brought more attention to the All-Star guard after his memorable performance.
