Steph Curry's sister-in-law and Aaleeyah Petty show love to LaMelo Ball's girlfriend Ana Montana's gameday fit
The Charlotte Hornets season is in full swing after making their season debut last Wednesday. Hornets point guard Lamelo Ball's girlfriend, Ana Montana, shared her excitement for the new season with a post on Instagram.
Montana shared her post on Monday, showing off her gameday outfit and sharing her courtside view of LaMelo Ball's player introduction from Charlotte's home opener on Saturday night.
Partners of NBA players showed their love with supportive comments on Montana's post. Seth Curry's wife commented with three fire emojis on the post. Curry plays alongside LaMelo Ball in Charlotte, playing in his second season for the Hornets. Callie Curry is also the sister-in-law of four-time NBA champion Steph Curry.
Anfernee Simons' girlfriend, Aaleeyah Petty, also showed love for the post, commenting:
"You've been killing it," with three heart-eye emojis.
Ball and Ana Montana went public with their relationship back in 2023 after first being linked in 2021.
LaMelo Ball shines in home opener versus Heat
The Charlotte Hornets squared off against the Miami Heat in their home opener of the 2024-25 campaign. The Hornets fell to 1-2 on the season, suffering a 114-106 loss to the Heat on Saturday night.
Despite the loss, the Hornets got a heroic effort from Ball. The All-Star point guard is off to a hot start in his fifth NBA season and continued his stretch versus Miami. He posted a team-high 27 points on 9 of 22 shooting, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out seven assists.
Through three games, Ball is averaging the third-most points per game in the NBA (31.7) behind Luka Doncic, Anthony Davis (34.0) and Jayson Tatum (33.0). In 34.3 minutes per night, Ball is posting 31.7 points, 7.3 assists and 7.0 rebounds.
In Charlotte's season opening win over the Houston Rockets, Ball kicked the season off with a 34-point, 11-assist double-double effort. He had a second-straight 34-point performance versus Atlanta on Friday prior to Saturday's home opener. LaMelo Ball and the Hornets will be back at home versus the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
