Steph Curry's sister Sydel Curry Lee captures brother's adorable moment with her son Daxon: "Uncle SDot how old are you"
Steph Curry’s siblings, Seth Curry and Sydel Curry Lee met on Saturday for some family bonding. The Charlotte Hornets guard spent a few days in Phoenix with his sister and her husband, Suns guard, Damion Lee. Curry bonded with seldom-seen family after the Hornets’ two Los Angeles games were postponed due to wildfires.
Instead of staying in LA, the Hornets went to Phoenix for a Sunday matchup against the Suns. The free time allowed Curry to have time with the Lees, including their children.
Sydel Curry Lee shared a photo of Seth Curry with her son Daxon and wrote part of their conversation on Instagram:
“Uncle SDot how old are you? And what’s your favorite color?”
There isn’t much information about why Seth is called SDot, but this is the same handle he uses for his Instagram and X accounts. This is the same nickname the Lee kids and Steph Curry’s children use to call him. The NBA vet, two years younger than the Golden State Warriors franchise cornerstone, turns 35 on Aug. 23.
Seth Curry is dealing with right knee soreness, an issue that caused him to miss the Charlotte Hornets’ past two games. He was cleared to play hours before the Sunday tip-off against the Suns but hasn’t seen action halfway into the game.
The Hornets-Suns game was tied at 62 apiece at halftime. If Charlotte wins, Seth Curry sweeps his head-to-head matchup against Sydel Curry Lee’s husband, Damion Lee.
Steph Curry’s dad Dell Curry also spent time with Sydel Curry Lee and kids
Steph Curry missed out on well-deserved family bonding that his dad, Dell Curry, and siblings Seth Curry and Sydel Curry Lee enjoyed. The former NBA star also went to Phoenix to cover the Hornets game. He also spent time with his grandkids.
Damion Lee’s wife shared on Instagram a photo of the Curry patriarch with her son Daxon and wrote:
“GDaddy in the house”
Steph Curry’s Golden State Warriors face the Suns for the fourth and final time this season on Apr. 8 in Phoenix.
