Steph Curry's sister Sydel Curry sends out SOS message over Hollywood actress' big announcement
Steph Curry's sister Sydel Curry expressed her excitement on her Instagram story, dragging along her four-time NBA champion brother. Sydel posted a video of herself on her official Instagram handle and accompanied it with a caption mentioning her brother.
"STEPHEN. WARDELL. CURRY. SOSSSSSSSS This is not a Drill. AAHHHHHHH!! @stephencurry30," Sydel wrote.
This excited reaction came after the Golden State Warriors superstar's sister got to know about the confirmation for a sequel in the "Princess Diaries" movie series. The video she uploaded featured iconic "Shut up" dialogue from Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.
As the video starts, Sydel counts to three. After one, the video transitions to Hathaway's dialogue from the movie. After two, Andrews' dialogue from the movie is shown. After three, the music starts playing, and the video fades into a screenshot of an article about the much-awaited installment in the movie series.
Steph Curry's sister calling him out excitedly for the latest installment in the "Princess Diaries" series is no coincidence. It's a little-known fact that the Golden State Warriors star is a fan of the series. During an interview with the SLAM NBA in 2019, Curry quoted dialogue from the movie.
The baby-faced assassin appeared on SLAM's "Bag Talk," where he was tasked with uncovering his items from a bag that is connected to the guest's past. During one segment of the video, Curry pulls out a DVD copy of the "Princess Diaries" and proceeds to quote from it.
"Get off the Grass!" Curry said.
(Starts 1:15)
The dialogue was from one of the infamous scenes in the movie when Hathaway walks on the grass after entering the mansion. The dialogue is continued in a foreign language, and the Dubs ace tried his best to copy that as well.
Steph Curry's wife Ayesha and sister Sydel expresses optimistic views on their wine brand
Steph Curry's wife Ayesha Curry and his sister Sydel Curry took part in a photo shoot for their wine brand Domaine Curry. Ayesha and Sydell had launched the brand in 2018, and since then, it has been slowly tightening its grip in the wine market.
Curry's sister Sydel spoke to Essence, expressing her optimistic views on the wine brand.
"The truth of the matter is that the wine industry is predominantly white-male-driven,” Sydel said. “It was pretty daunting going in. But we quickly realized we’re smart, we’re strong, we’ve got it, we know what we like, we know what tastes great, we know what works."
Although the Warriors star isn't involved with the brand on a large scale, he is sometimes spotted promoting the brand with his wife.
