Steph Curry's wife Ayesha Curry wishes Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union on her birthday with special throwback snap

NBA Hall-of-Famer Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union turned 52 on Tuesday, and she received a special birthday greeting from Ayesha Curry. Steph Curry's wife went on Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate Union's special day, as she posted an IG Story featuring a photo of them and some of their other friends.

Ayesha's post featured herself, Union, actresses Jessica Alba and Sabina Gadecki as well as Mia Wright. Ayesha also added a short but sweet birthday greeting for Union in her post.

"Happy Birthday @gabunion!!! We love you!" Ayesha wrote.

Union posted and reposted several of the birthday greetings she received to her own IG Stories including the one from Ayesha. In reposting her story, Union added the following response for her.

The photo that Curry posted of her with Mia Wright, Jessica Alba, Sabina Gadecki and birthday celebrant Gabrielle Union does not appear to be recent.

Prior to her birthday, Union's latest IG activity shows her supporting her husband Dwyane Wade during the unveiling of his statue in Miami. Meanwhile, Alba posted a series of photos with her family in Disneyland in California. As of the time of writing, both these posts are listed as being a day old.

Their respective social media activity suggests that they are not together for Union's birthday and Ayesha used a throwback photo.

Gabrielle Union once advised Ayesha Curry and Steph Curry to break up

According to "People," Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry met as teenagers in 2003 and started dating in '08. The two got married later on in 2011, which was Steph's sophomore season in the NBA.

Now, over a decade since tying the knot, the Currys have four children, Riley Elizabeth, Ryan Carson, Canon, and Caius Chai.

However, had they listened to some advice from Gabrielle Union, things might have turned out differently. In an Instagram Live with Union, Dwyane Wade, and the Currys in April 2020, Union talked about how she advised the Currys to split up when they were younger.

Union had told them that the chances of their relationship working out were low. As such, they should break up and see other people. This revelation prompted Wade to apologize on behalf of their family, saying that that isn't who they are as people anymore.

The couples laughed as this story was recounted and afterward, Union admitted to admiring the relationship between Steph and Ayesha Curry
