Steph Curry salutes Davidson College for featuring his Curry Brand logo on their jerseys
Steph Curry, who is a huge fan of his alma mater, is ready for Davidson College’s basketball season to start. The school released Instagram photos of their jerseys for the 2024-25 campaign. The uniforms showed the iconic No. 30, the number Curry wears with the Golden State Warriors, and the two-time MVP’s brand logo with 'Under Armour.'
Curry responded to the IG photos by sharing the same and tagging the school’s account. He saluted the collection of jerseys for the Wildcats men’s and women’s basketball players. Davidson will debut the uniforms when it faces the Bowling Green Falcons on Nov. 8.
Curry is the most popular and most accomplished basketball player to come out of Davidson College. He built a legendary career during his three-year stint with the school. Curry averaged 25.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.1 steals in 104 games for the Wildcats.
Steph Curry has one eye on Davidson while he leads the Golden State Warriors in the NBA
While Davidson College’s season hasn’t started yet, Steph Curry began his 16th year as a pro on Wednesday. The four-time NBA champ led the Golden State Warriors to a 139-104 win against the Portland Trail Blazers to begin their 2024-25 campaign on a high note. Curry finished the game with 17 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and two steals.
The NBA season requires Curry’s utmost attention and focus. He will be keeping an eye, though, on Davidson as he has remained a fan since leaving the school in the summer of 2009. This season, he has more reasons to monitor how the team is doing considering the Curry Brand is the team’s biggest supporter.
