Steph Curry shares 4-word reaction to Draymond Green copying his 'night night' celebration
Draymond Green pulled off Steph Curry's "night night" celebration after sealing the win for the Golden State Warriors against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
With just over 30 seconds remaining and the Warriors up by six points, Green had the ball and he was being guarded by Rudy Gobert. After a few dribbles, he used a screen from Curry, attacked the basket and threw down an emphatic dunk.
On Tuesday, Curry took to his Instagram story and posted a picture of his teammate doing the viral celebration.
"Mood untill further notice....." Curry captioned.
Green finished with six points, six rebounds, seven assists and one block. On the other hand, Curry led the Warriors' offense with 30 points, on 8 of 18 shooting, including 5 of 11 from the 3-point line. He also had four rebounds and eight assists. Buddy Hield scored 27 points.
Curry and the Warriors have a 14-9 record and will face the Houston Rockets in the quarterfinals of the Emirates NBA Cup on Thursday.
If the Dubs win, they will face the winner between the Dallas Mavericks and the OKC Thunder in the semifinals.
Steve Kerr lets his true feelings known about Draymond Green copying Steph Curry's 'night night' celebration
Warriors coach Steve Kerr was pleased with his team's win on Sunday, especially after a rough stretch. They were 1-6 in their previous seven games.
During Sunday's postgame presser, a reporter asked Kerr about Green's "night night" celebration.
"He’s no Steph Curry, but it was a decent impersonation, and I appreciate the passion behind it," Kerr said.
Curry's celebration went viral again after Team USA defeated France in the gold medal game in the Paris Olympics. Green was in attendance to support his teammate and his national team.
After the game, Curry wore a hoodie that had "NUIT. NUIT." (night night in French) written across his chest.
