Steph Curry shares his perspective on Steve Kerr calling him modern Michael Jordan

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr recently compared Steph Curry to Michael Jordan for his impact on the game and the NBA. With Curry taking note of this comparison, the Warriors superstar offered his response to the same.

Steph Curry is undoubtedly one of the most prominent figures in the NBA, at least in the modern era. Having impacted the game with his unique style of play, Curry practically changed the landscape of the NBA.

Known to be a fierce competitor and one of the best entertainers in the business, it is really no surprise that Curry is such an influential figure in basketball. However, as per Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, Curry's influence could even be compared to that of Michael Jordan.

Jordan, who is considered one of the greatest to ever do so, was similar in the way he impacted and changed the landscape of the game. Considering Kerr was also Jordan's teammate, the Warriors head coach made the comparison from a place of experience.

Following the Warriors' win against the Wizards, Kerr referred to Steph Curry as the Modern Michael Jordan. Curry responded to this comparison by saying:

"The thing that's interesting is that, as you said, he played with him [MJ]. He understood what the roadshows look like and opposing arenas when fans come out and how Dubnation's growing over the years. So that's special."
"I think every time you take the floor, you feel that energy. I don't ever take it for granted. Because it wasn't always like that. That's why we play the game for, in a sense of, the fans being a part of the journey. Coming out, spending their hard earned money on tickets and creating an atmosphere like we had tonight."
"From the time we ran out to the floor for warmups, throughout the whole game, it was amazing. And fortunately, we feel that most nights on the road and at home obviously."

He concluded by saying:

"I'll leave it to him to make the comparison. But it is special knowing what our accomplishments have done to bring that atmosphere night after night."

While Golden State has been in an unfavorable situation, they walked away with a solid win on Monday. With Steph Curry leading the charge, Golden State managed to prevent the start of a losing slide.

Steph Curry erupts for 41 points against the Washington Wizards

The Golden State Warriors finally saw Steph Curry rack up a comeback performance to inject some life back into the team. With the superstar looking unsteady since returning from injury, Curry gave the team the boost they needed to get over the line.

The Warriors emerged victorious against the Washington Wizards after a 127-118 matchup. Considering Golden State's poor record on the road, a win like this is massive for the Dubs.

Curry was a huge contributor to the winning effort. Recording 41 points on the night with seven rebounds to add to it, the Warriors superstar erupted to lead the Dubs' offensive charge.

Joining Curry, Jordan Poole also notched an impressive 32 points on the night.

The game proved to be a hard-fought contest. But it was one that the Warriors needed. After Curry's scathing indictment of the Warriors' shortcomings, it appears that the team has received the boost they need to get things going again.
