Steve Kerr left unimpressed by with critical no-call on Steph Curry: "It's Steph Curry; You can't miss that"

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was particularly upset regarding a missed call on Steph Curry. While voicing his concerns with the state of officiating, Kerr also detailed his frustrations with the no-call on Curry after the game.

The Golden State Warriors came up short against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. Kicking off their road-trip with a loss in the first game, the Warriors only added to their miseries this season.

With another loss on the road, the Warriors have genuine reason to be concerned about their ability to compete. However, this concern appears to be secondary when compared to the nature of foul calls.

The game against the Bucks may have been a loss. However, a controversial no-call on Curry, which earned the superstar a technical instead, has become a topic of discussion.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr also addressed the incident following the 111-128 blowout. He started by addressing the several non-calls throughout the course of the game. He said:

"I was already mad at several non-calls in the paint. I thought there should have been a block on Middleton during Poole's drive and the officials admitted they missed that. Then Jordan got fouled on a reverse layup and then there was a continuation that was given to Giannis that I didn't feel like was continuation."

From Kerr's standpoint, he feels the officiating isn't going in the Warriors' favor. While some amount of homecourt advantage could be attributed to this effect, Steph Curry may have had to face the brunt of it down the stretch.

Kerr added upon his comments by recalling the incident involving Curry. Here's what he said:

"So I just feel like we're on the bad end of things to start the game and then Steph Curry gets hit on the head on a three-point shot. That needs to be called. That's what he does. It's Steph Curry. You can't miss that. I was frustrated because if Steph got a technical, he already got fouled. And I was already upset with a couple of other non-calls."

With a massive disparity in free-throw attempts staring Kerr in the face, the Warriors head coach feels his frustrations are valid. The no-call on Curry eventually resulted in an easy layup for Bobby Portis on the other end of the floor. The superstar himself has been on the receiving end of some rather interesting calls.

Having earned himself a technical foul earlier in the season as well, paired with the frustration of the losses, Curry and the Warriors could be unraveling.

Steph Curry shared his thoughts on the no-call

While Steve Kerr's take on the matter is obviously valuable, hearing it from the party involved offers a different insight on the matter. Following the loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry also shared his thoughts on the no-call. While answering questions on the incident, Curry responded by saying:

"Any time the defender is asking ‘are you alright?’ and the ref says ‘I didn’t see anything,’ that’s a funny situation."

The lack of consistency in calling fouls can be particularly frustrating for players. But in the Warriors' case, it is rather devastating.

With a 2-12 record on the road, the Dubs have fallen to .500 again. While this keeps them afloat, this is not where they want to be considering their aspirations for another title.

With five more games on the road, Golden State will hope to turn things around quickly. Considering their trend of poor performances on the road, however, this may prove to be a challenge.
