"That child put 43 on y'all"- NBA fans troll Jaylen Brown's diss at Giannis Antetokounmpo after 'high school prank'

NBA fans made fun of Jaylen Brown on social media after Giannis Antetokounmpo gave him a fake low-five. Brown and the Boston Celtics were on the road to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. At one point in the game, Antetokounmpo extended his arm toward Brown. The Celtics star wanted to give a hand back to Giannis, but the Bucks star then dodged Brown's low-five.

After the game, Brown had a few words to say regarding the prank the "Greek Freak" pulled on him.

“Giannis is a child," Brown said. "I’m just focused on helping my team get a win. And that’s what we did tonight.”

While Jaylen Brown made a good point about Giannis Antetokounmpo, NBA fans on social media couldn't help but make fun of the situation. Here's what some fans had to say on X, formerly Twitter:

"They might of lost but that child did put 43 on yall lol"
"c'mon legends, don't cry about some high school prank"

Here's what other fans had to say on X:

"This the same guy who called you the best player in the world lol he just messing with ya lol," one tweeted.
"so 43 and 19 isn’t trying to help your team get a win, grow up bro," another said.
"When you go for the handshake, and Giannis hits you with the 'psych," another tweeted.

Meanwhile, one fan called on Jaylen Brown to lighten up a little.

"Jaylen Brown used to be one of ma favorite dudes, lately he’s been taking himself too seriously. Just chill. Specially after y’all just got the W," one said.

The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Coming into the game, all eyes were on the 2-7 Bucks again as they struggled to gain momentum in their season. Unfortunately for them, the Celtics came up with a 113-107 victory despite Giannis Antetokounmpo's efforts to fend off the defending champions.

Antetokounmpo had a masterful performance, adding 43 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks. He also shot efficiently with 62.1% accuracy from the field. It's too bad his efforts weren't enough to stop the Celtics.

Looking at Boston's squad, it was Jayson Tatum who took over. Tatum had a double-double performance, adding 31 points and 12 rebounds. Despite struggling with his shot the entire night (7-21 FG), "JT" managed to still come up with huge numbers as he went 13 of 15 from the free throw line.
