"That mf don’t miss": Snoop Dogg in awe of Steph Curry, shares a montage of Warriors superstar's no-look 3-pointers

Snoop Dogg has long been in awe of Steph Curry. The Golden State Warriors franchise cornerstone has caused the hip-hop legend’s favorite team the LA Lakers more than their share of heartbreaks. Curry is 25-18 lifetime against the Lakers, emphasizing how well he has done when facing the Tinseltown team.

On Monday, the “Gin and Juice” creator went on Instagram to express how he feels about the two-time NBA MVP. The rapper was arguably Team USA’s loudest and most eccentric supporter in the recently concluded 2024 Paris Olympics. He again had a front-row ticket watching the best shooter in league history carving up opponents in the Americans’ gold-medal winning campaign.

The clip the “Dogg Father” showed on social media featured Steph Curry shooting incredibly high-arching 3-pointers before turning around to run back on defense. Every shot in the collection amazed fans, including crowds in hostile arenas. Curry oozed with confidence and certainty his long-distance shots would go in he wouldn’t even track them once the ball left his hands.

The LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors did not meet in the playoffs or the play-in tournament last season. But, in the last regular-season meeting between the two teams, the rapper had to be aware of how Curry torched the Lakers from behind the arc.

In the Warriors’ 134-120 victory, “Chef Curry” finished the game with 23 points on 7-for-9 shooting, including 6-for-6 from behind rainbow distance. Curry sinking triples with nonchalance is a sight Snoop Dogg is all too familiar with.

Steph Curry gave Snoop Dogg and basketball fans a show at 2024 Paris Olympics

One of the biggest subplots in Team USA’s Paris Olympic campaign was Steph Curry’s debut. Curry’s previous commitment to his country’s basketball program was in 2010 and 2014 in the FIBA World Cup. He begged off in 2016 to rest his oft-injured ankles before finally re-committing to suit up for the national team this year.

Curry struggled to adjust to his teammates, particularly at the start of the Olympics. Critics trolled him for going 5-for-20 in the USA’s first four games, including a 0-for-6 dud against South Sudan.

Snoop Dogg and Warriors fans likely thought it was only a matter of time before Steph Curry got his shots going. As if on cue, the greatest shooter in NBA history saved the Americans their blushes with a mind-boggling display against Serbia. Curry kept Team USA in the game versus the Nikola Jokic-led team before sealing the result with free throws.

Curry’s sweet shooting continued in the finals against France. He followed up his 9-for-14 clip against Serbia with an 8-for-12 efficiency versus Les Bleus to help the Americans grab the gold medal.

Snoop Dogg, an ever-present figure in the Olympics, could be seen laughing from the sidelines watching Steph Curry do what he does best.
