"That's comical" - Draymond Green dishes unfiltered opinion on Klay Thompson's IG antics
Four-time NBA All-Star Draymond Green isn't afraid to use his podcast to share his honest takes on the happenings around the NBA, especially when those events involve the Golden State Warriors. As such, fans were probably anticipating what he had to say on the latest development regarding his teammate, Klay Thompson.
The veteran swingman not only unfollowed the Warriors on Instagram, he also deleted all posts relating to the team on his official account. It's an interesting move to make ahead of the offseason wherein he's set to become an unrestricted free agent.
Green shared his thoughts on this interesting development from Thompson on Friday's (June 14) episode of the Draymond Green Show.
"I know all of you were probably looking forward to me talking about Klay [Thompson] unfollowing the Warriors," Green said on his podcast. "I had no idea that happened, I think it's f***ing hilarious."
Green shared that he learned about Thompson unfollowing the Warriors and deleting the Warriors-related posts just as he logged in to record the latest episode of his podcast.
"I think that's comical," Green added. "I know y'all would be wanting like somebody's feelings to be hurt or something. It ain't that, it ain't ever going to be that. That's hilarious."
Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were drafted by the Warriors in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Neither Thompson nor Green has ever played for a different team since entering the NBA.
Thompson is set to become a free agent this summer after he and the Warriors front office failed to reach an agreement on an extension.

Draymond Green looks back and shares what he regrets about the Jordan Poole incident
Back in 2022, a video of Draymond Green punching ex-Warriors guard Jordan Poole during practice was leaked. That incident took over the internet and sports media for quite a while but it has since become a bit of an NBA meme.
Green recalled that incident once more on his podcast and shared what he regretted most about it.
According to Green, he fulfilled his role as a veteran and a leader by taking Poole under his wing and serving as a mentor for him as he adjusted to life in the NBA. As such, seeing him succeed was the "best thing."
The worst, however, is the fact that he could not celebrate the massive contract that Poole got due to the physical altercation they were involved in.
Jordan Poole signed a four-year, $128 million extension with the Warriors several days after Draymond Green punched him in practice. After the extension, Poole threw a party and, understandably, Green was not there for it.
