"The Dillon Brooks effect"- NBA fans are shocked after Kyrie Irving goes scoreless in the clutch against Grizzlies
Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks broke their two-game win streak as they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 112-108 on Monday night. Ever since his return last Friday, Irving has become the man in charge of the Mavs while Luka Doncic is still out due to his reinjured left thigh. Kyrie was able to deliver against the LA Lakers last week, however, Monday night turned out to be the complete opposite.
Kyrie Irving was obviously shut down during the 4th quarter in the matchup against the Grizzlies. He took eight shot attempts and didn't make a single basket. It was uncharacteristic of Irving and now fans are trolling the Mavs star on social media.
