"The law doesn't apply to you" - Anna Horford reacts sharply to special counsel dropping charges against Donald Trump
Al Horford's sister Anna Horford was not happy following the latest news regarding Donald Trump. One of the cases against the president-elect was thrown out by a judge on Monday after the lead prosecutor moved for its dismissal. Trump will be celebrated as the 47th President of the United States on Jan. 25, 2025.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Anna reacted to U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan dismissing the Federal Election Interference case against Trump.
"If you're white enough & rich enough, the law doesn't apply to you," Anna tweeted.
Donald Trump is facing charges for two more cases, the Georgia Election Interference case and the Hush Money case. The Classified Documents case was dismissed back in July, but there's an appeal about the decision.
Anna Horford campaigned against Donald Trump and JD Vance before the elections
Before the 2024 Presidential Election earlier this month, Anna Horford condemned Donald Trump, JD Vance and the people who are planning to vote for them. Horford has been a critic of Trump for a long time, bringing up the president-elect's decision to repeal Roe v. Wade when he was still in the White House.
"A vote for Tr*mp & Vance is a vote to let the women in your lives die preventably & in agony. Just ask the pro-life parents in places like Texas who have watched their daughters die because they didn’t think the laws would personally impact them," Horford tweeted just before election day.
Despite the campaign against Trump, the majority of the U.S. population voted for him to return as president.
Anna Horford wanted Dave Portnoy banned from being a Boston Celtics fan
Following the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris last September, Barstool Sports founder and Boston Celtics fan Dave Portnoy gave his take on it. Portnoy claimed that Trump was against Harris and the debate's moderator, which put the former POTUS at a disadvantage.
Anna Horford was not of Portnoy's sentiments and called for the Celtics to ban him as a fan.
"I truly wish we could ban him from being a Celtics fan," Horford tweeted.
Portnoy is a regular at the TD Garden, cheering for the Celtics. He was born and raised in Massachusetts, becoming a big supporter of Boston sports teams. However, he's a controversial figure due to previous comments about rape, blackface and the N-word. He also faced sexual assault allegations, but the charges against him were dropped.
