"The loves of my life": Tyler Herro's girlfriend Katya Elise Henry shares wholesome picture of daughter Zya playing with their cat
Miami Heat star Tyler Herro's girlfriend, Katya Elise Henry, shared a peek into her spending quality time with their kids with a series of wholesome photos. Henry took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of her embracing their son, Harlem, and then a snap of their daughter, Zya, playing with their cat.
"the loves of my life π₯Ίπ€," Henry captioned her IG story.
Tyler Herro's girlfriend is an Instagram fitness model and boasts over 7.6 million followers on the platform. Katya is also a personal trainer and acquired fame by posting her fitness workouts online.
Katya (29) and Tyler (24) reportedly started dating in March 2020, during Herro's rookie year in the Miami Heat. The couple welcomed their daughter, Zya Elise Herro, in September 2021, and later expanded to a family of four when they welcomed their son, Harlem Herro, in January 2023.
"Love & Basketball": Tyler Herro's girlfriend Katya Elise Henry shares snaps of wholesome family trip to Miami Heat training arena
Tyler Herro's family of four took a trip to the Miami Heat's training arena last month, as shown by the photos shared by his girlfriend Katya on her Instagram. The photos feature a wholesome family outing as they chilled on the court with the children playing around while Herro practiced his shooting.
"love & basketball β€οΈβπ½," Henry captioned her post.
While enjoying the ongoing offseason by spending quality time with his family, Tyler Herro will begin the 2024-25 NBA season as a sixth-year guard for the Heat. He is coming off his best season statistically in the league despite being listed out for almost half of the 2023-24 NBA season due to various injuries.
Herro concluded his previous season averaging 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 44.1% from the field in the 42 games he played in the regular season.
The former Most Improved Player had also taken on an elevated role for the Heat due to the unavailability of Jimmy Butler for the postseason due to his untimely injury during the Play-In Tournament. He averaged 16.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists in the postseason as the Heat fell 4-1 to the Boston Celtics in the first-round series of the playoffs.
After falling short, Herro's name has often popped up as a potential trade chip for the Miami Heat to retool their roster. However, no such trades have made any leeway as of now.
