"There’s no way they thought that was the answer"- Jimmy Butler mocks the Celtics as he leaves the court after taking 2-0 lead

Jimmy Butler is having the best playoffs of his 12-year NBA career. He's been playing fantastic basketball on both ends of the floor and has led the Miami Heat to a 2-0 lead over the Boston Celtics.

The 6-foot-7 swingman was once again Miami's leading scorer. He dropped 27 points in Game 2, shocking the Celtics on their home court. After the game, the Heat superstar even mocked the opposing team.

The next two games of the series will take place in Miami, allowing the Heat to sweep Boston in the Eastern Conference Finals. Miami hasn't lost a game at home this postseason, but keeping the perfect home record against the Celtics will be tough.


Jimmy Butler doesn't think that the Boston Celtics had an answer for him

With 6:37 left in the game, the Boston Celtics had a nine-point lead. Grant Williams made a big three-pointer, but he got into a verbal exchange with Jimmy Butler, which ended up being fatal for his team.

Butler proceeded to score nine points after Williams' taunt, leading Miami to a big victory. The Miami Heat star was hyped after the game and he even mocked the Celtics for not having an answer for him.

"There's no way they thought that was the answer!" Butler said after Game 2.

According to numberFire, the Celtics had a 92.03% win probability in the early fourth quarter. This number went down to around 89% when Williams taunted Butler, but it was still very high.

Jimmy Butler is one of the best clutch players in the league and arguably the best player in the playoffs. He's led the eighth-seeded Miami Heat to several big victories, and the Heat will likely advance to the NBA Finals because of him.

When the final buzzer of Game 2 sounded off, Miami was up by six points, 111-105, and Butler had 27 points, eight rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks. Grant Williams had nine points off the bench on 4-for-6 shooting.

The next two games of the Heat-Celtics series will be played at Kaseya Center in Miami, where the Heat have gone 5-0 this postseason. Jimmy Butler has played well at home in the playoffs, and his best game was a 56-point performance against the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round.

During the regular season, the Heat were 27-14 at home, while the Celtics were 25-16 on the road. The two teams played two regular-season games in Miami, splitting the series.
