"They like bumped meats" - Josh Hart hilariously reviews Anthony Rizzo's iconic celebration with Austin Wells on Yankees
New York Knicks standout Josh Hart was left scratching his head this week after the New York Yankees eliminated the Cleveland Guardians from the MLB Playoffs on Saturday. After going up 3-2 in the series, the Yankees closed things out at home on Saturday, beating the Guardians 5-2.
At one point, a player named Austin Wells scored, and celebrated in a unique way with one of his teammates, Anthony Rizzo. The viral clip quickly circulated online, drawing the attention of Josh Hart. During the latest episode of 'The Roommates Show' with Hart and Jalen Brunson, he showed his New York co-star the clip.
Much like Hart, Brunson was left confused by the celebration, which, as he pointed out, looks like it would hurt. Weighing in on the unique celebration, Hart said:
"They like bumped meats. First off, that didn't hurt? They did it in the dugout. Shout out to Rizzo."
Jalen Brunson also weighed in, saying:
"They bumped meats? ... That was so aggressive. Ow. Like Sexy Redd, Bow Bow Bow."

Josh Hart defends Knicks teammate after questionable opening night performance
In the Knicks' season opener, Josh Hart's new teammate, Mikal Bridges, who joined the Knicks this summer as part of a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets, started off the game slow.
With his new jumpshot release, Bridges came under scrutiny as he struggled to knock down shots. Given that his new release includes a noticeable hitch, the Knicks forward was an easy target for criticism.
Even though Bridges seemed to get back to his initial form during the game and finished the night with 16 points on 53.8% from the floor, his 2-7 3-point percentage on the night sparked criticism from fans.
In response, Josh Hart defended him while speaking with media members during a scrum:
"We don't care about all the background noise about Mikal, his shot. We don't care about it. He puts the work in every day. He's going to be good.
"The talk around it is stupidity. There's stupidity to it because, at the end of the day, he's been almost a 40% career 3-point shooter. The talk around it is stupid, and we're not really going to entertain it."
Despite the change to Bridges' shot form, coach Tom Thibodeau echoed a similar sentiment to Josh Hart. He said that he trusts Bridges to take good shots, knowing that sometimes they'll fall, and other times they'll miss.
