"They suspended him for being bad for business"- Anonymous NBA player opens on the real reason for Ja Morant suspension

Ja Morant has been suspended indefinitely for his recent inappropriate behavior. The last time he played for the Memphis Grizzlies was on March 3 against the Denver Nuggets. Morant and the Grizzlies have been the centerpieces in the NBA as of late. Ja made things worse when he flashed a gun live on his socials.

Fans and players are now dissing Ja Morant for how he's been acting recently. They're calling him a wannabe gangster for getting into fights and having photos of him with strippers leaked on social media. An anonymous NBA player has opened up about why the league suspended him in the first place.

“They suspended him for being bad for business," the player stated. "‘I tell all my players: this is all a giant machine. Yeah, it runs on your talent, but it’s the business the league has grown that draws in the money.’"

The anonymous player continued:

"The popularity of the league gives you the platform not only for your salary but for the endorsements and all the other revenue that’s out there for you… The guys who really make bank are the ones who understand how everything’s tied together…”

Ja Morant returns on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks

Ja Morant's suspension will end on March 20, right in time for the Memphis Grizzlies' matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. However, sources report that Morant isn't likely to play against the Mavs considering that it's only his first day back. But that doesn't mean he is ruled out of the game. The Grizzlies haven't officially announced whether their star guard will be playing or not.

However, given that Memphis is ranked 3rd in the West, getting Morant back on the court isn't a necessity. Plus, there's also the fact that Ja deals with court rust whenever he stays away for long periods of time. He'll definitely need some time to brush off the rust in practice, especially now that the playoffs are fast approaching. It's likely we could see him return on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets.
