“This is what we call pulling a pin on the Draymond grenade… Kevin Durant’s ultimate vindication” - Nick Wright proposes a Kevin Durant-Draymond Green trade
Kevin Durant and Draymond Green have found themselves in the spotlight during the offseason.
Durant sent shockwaves through the basketball world when he requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. However, he has yet to find a taker.
Draymond Green, meanwhile, has been in high spirits since winning the NBA championship. Green is reportedly eyeing a hefty extension with the Warriors, who are unwilling to hand him a big payday. As a result, he may be on the move.
On "First Things First," analyst Nick Wright threw out a proposal in which he included Green in a hypothetical trade for Durant. According to Wright, the Warriors could send Green, Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody and two first-round draft picks in exchange for Durant.

Uncertain futures for Kevin Durant and Draymond Green
There's no denying that both Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are two of the most popular players in the league. Durant is a two-time Finals MVP who has the ability to completely take over a game on both ends of the court.
Green, meanwhile, has become the heart and soul of the Golden State Warriors and has built a reputation as one of the top defensive players in the NBA.
As things stand, it is unlikely that the Warriors will part with Green. The passionate forward has been a key piece of the Warriors' championship runs over the years and trading him away would leave a big void they would find difficult to fill.
A move for Durant would undoubtedly make the Warriors a stronger unit for the upcoming season, but it could jeopardize their future and create potential salary cap issues.
