"This is right up my alley": UFC President Dana White reacts as Celtics keep receipts mocking Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless and more

UFC President Dana White minced no words when he responded to a Boston Celtics IG post where they ran clips of Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless, and Shaquille O'Neal having their doubts about the franchise getting past the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Finals. They were all proven wrong as the Celtics razed the West Coast team 4-1 and won their 18th NBA championship — the most by a franchise in league history, surpassing the LA Lakers' 17 rings. White was one of the many fans who responded to the post.

The Connecticut native had quite the response as he congratulated Boston on the title win.

"BOOOOOOOM!!!!!! This is right up my alley. ☘️👊🏻☘️ CONGRATS"

The UFC head honcho has been making headlines in recent times, most notably for opening up to NFL champion Shannon Sharpe about the physical interaction he had with his wife in 2022, and the impact it had on his children.

“It wasn’t about getting through it publicly. It was about getting through it personally with my kids. Me and my wife, we’re fine. … The kids had never seen that before. It was on the world stage, we embarrassed them, you know. And no kids want to see that shit with your parents.”

On the game front, White is a confessed C's fan and has admitted to loving the rivalry the team shares with the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers. Safe to say, he shared the same sentiments as the side as they shut down critics with their title win.

Can the Boston Celtics defend their title next season?

The biggest question leading into the NBA offseason was whether Boston could defend their title in the upcoming season. In one word, yes. The outfit led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown is one of the most well-rounded units in the league and with age and an astute sidelines manager in Joe Mazzulla, the Celtics have all that it takes to become a dynasty.

The team has the perfect complementary stars in Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis, while their bench has enough talent in Sam Hauser, Payton Pritchard, and Xavier Tillman. Their chemistry and better understanding of each other's game can be compared to the Golden State Warriors dynasty between 2015-18.
