Who has the most NBA All-Star appearances? Ft. LeBron James and moreĀ 

LeBron James made history on Thursday night as he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most NBA All-Star appearances, with his 20th nomination.

As the All-Star starters for both conferences were revealed, we took a look at the players with the most selections.

The 72nd NBA All-Star 2023 will take place in Utah this season for the first time since the 1992-93 season. Earlier Thursday, the starters for both conferences as well as the two captains were announced by the "Inside the NBA" crew.

The Eastern Conference starters are Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is the captain. Following the Greek Freak were guards Damian Lillard and Tyrese Haliburton, with forward Jayson Tatum and center Joel Embiid.

LeBron James is the top vote-getter for the Western Conference, making him the captain. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic are the starters in the backcourt, while Nikola Jokic and Kevin Durant are in the starting five.

As the starters were revealed, LeBron James made history as he became an All-Star for the 20th straight season. James is averaging 24.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game.
