"Tortilla kinda girl" - LeBron James' wife Savannah James pokes fun at Bryce James' Taco Bell promo
Savannah James and Bryce James are preparing for the 2024-25 season, where LeBron and Bronny James are poised to play together. Ahead of the LA Lakers' season opener tonight, Bryce broke some big news for Taco Bell rewards members that caught Savannah's attention.
In a video posted on Instagram, Bryce pump-faked NBA fans. He started off the video by explaining that everyone has their picks. Bryce then clarified, saying he wasn't talking about picks for tonight's NBA doubleheader. He was talking about Taco Bell picks.
The restaurant chain is dropping new $1 deals for rewards members ahead of the 2024-25 season.
Savannah then reposted the promo video on her story, making it clear that her taste is quite different from anything on Taco Bell's menu.
"I'm more of an almond flour tortilla kinda girl," Savannah wrote.
"I got your back and front always!!" - Savannah James gives Bronny James shoutout on social media ahead of NBA debut
While Bryce James is preparing for this year's season of high school basketball in hopes of moving one step closer to an NBA career, his brother is preparing to make his NBA debut tonight.
After suffering a cardiac arrest last summer, Bronny James spent a year at USC before then being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers this summer. Since struggling throughout LA's summer league slate, he has seemingly found his rhythm leading up to the Lakers' season opener.
In the Lakers' final preseason game, Bronny recorded 17 points, four rebounds, three steals and a block over 35 minutes of action. In addition, he also shot 41.2% from the floor despite a 1-5 night from downtown.
While the expectation is that Bronny will spend time in the G League and see limited minutes with LA this season, he will play alongside his dad in tonight's season opener. Ahead of tip-off, Savannah James posted a heartfelt message for her oldest son on Instagram:
"Amazing article @bronny!! The journey is yours! Your rules, your time, your way! I got your back and front always!!"
As Brian Windhorst has indicated, fans should be in their seats for the start of the second quarter, giving many hope that LeBron and Bronny will make NBA history.
