Tracy McGrady stamps his seal of approval to Florida star Walter Clayton's NBA potential

On Tuesday, NBA legend Tracy McGrady endorsed NCAA star Walter Clayton on social media. Clayton is the star player of the Florida Gators and is set to enter the 2025 NBA Draft. The Gators guard was supposedly entering the 2024 NBA Draft, however, he ultimately decided to finish his senior year and play another season for Florida.

The social media page PDT showcases basketball talent worldwide. It featured Walter Clayton to show its followers why he has what it takes to play in the NBA. The post caught the attention of many, including NBA legend Tracy McGrady. T-Mac reposted PDT's post on his Instagram story. The post was special to McGrady as he and Clayton are Florida natives.

The former NBA star captioned his repost:

"Staight out of Polk County."

McGrady is proud that a player from his city is about to represent them in the NBA. Clayton is averaging 18.4 points, 3.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game in the 2024-25 NCAA season. His numbers alone are efficient enough to get him drafted into the NBA with hopefully one of the top picks.

Tracy McGrady launches 13N35 brand

While Tracy McGrady had time to show support for Walter Clayton on his Instagram stories, there were other posts on his stories that paid homage to his legendary NBA moment. McGrady launched his new brand called 13N35. T-Mac's new brand will cater to the bag-loving audience.

McGrady partnered with Grant Haas of Haas Portman Family Office to bring this brand to life. The business partners also collaborated with CRAVE CEO Charles Kim.

T-Mac went on social media to thank the fans for supporting him.

"20 years ago I scored 13 points in 35 seconds and today I launched my brand 13N35 - Thank you to everyone who has been inspired -I did it for You," he wrote.

For those curious about Tracy McGrady's 13N35, it's a bag line brand he launched. 13N35's debut product is a shoulder bag that is bigger than a fanny pack but smaller compared to a backpack. The idea is for users to store their phone, wallet, keys, and even laundry in it. One of its high-tech designs is that the bag has a plug that could charge their phone.

The product isn't for sale yet, but limited edition variants will roll out in the U.S. and China within the week.
