Trae Young's wife Shelby Miller calls him ‘best dada' in heart-warming birthday tribute
Trae Young's wife Shelby Miller shared a heartwarming tribute for the Atlanta Hawks star on his birthday on Thursday. Miller took to Instagram to share a series of snaps of their family coupled with a heartwarming birthday message in the caption.
"Another year celebrating you and it’ll never be enough! Happy birthday to the best dada and husband, we love you and lucky you are ours 🤍🎂♾️," Miller captioned the post.
Trae Young and Shelby Miller met at the University of Oklahoma, where Miller was a cheerleader while Young played collegiate basketball. They began dating in 2017 and got married in July 2023. The couple have two children together, two-year-old son Tydus and 10-month-old daughter Teal.
The two-time NBA All-Star is a proud dad and often shares images of himself with their children on social media. Young shared adorable snaps of him with Tydus as they headed to Tydus' first day of Preschool on Wednesday.

Shelby Miller and their children are also often seen cheering for their 'dada' during his NBA games.
Trae Young reflects '25 down' as he shares birthday post
Trae Young turned 25 on Thursday and reflected on his journey with an Instagram post on Friday. Young shared snaps of himself with his family and coupled them with a caption that shared how he plans to live the next 25 years along with a note of gratitude.
"First 25 down, let’s spend the next 25 focused on EVERY DAY! With the offseason nearing the end, Trae Young prepares for the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season, which tips off in October.
The Hawks guard concluded the previous season averaging a double-double stat line of 25.7 points, 10.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals. He also shot 43.0% from the field and 37.3% from beyond the arc in 54 games.
After concluding with the 10th seed in the previous season, the Atlanta Hawks have made many changes to their roster, including the addition of the 2024 NBA Draft's first overall pick, Zaccharie Risacher. They face the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 8 for their first preseason game of the season.
